Socially Responsible Investing

Angel Oak Capital is committed to responsible investment practices

Angel Oak Capital’s corporate values have stressed responsible investment since its founding.  We are proud to be signatories to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and part of a larger community dedicated to sharing information and furthering responsible investment practices for the betterment of our industry and the global community

The UN-supported PRI is recognized as the leading global network for investors committed to incorporating environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) considerations into their investment philosophies. The UN-supported PRI’s network of international investors work together to implement a set of voluntary principles that provide a framework for integrating ESG factors into investment analysis and ownership practices aligned with investors’ fiduciary duties.

Angel Oak Capital is integrating ESG issues into all aspects of our business to better manage risk and seek the strongest risk-adjusted returns for our clients.  Angel Oak Capital’s approach includes educating our employees, vendors and service providers about ESG issues, consideration of ESG issues along with traditional financial analysis when researching investments, and collaboration with other signatories to support ESG issues.
