Linda Singer

Linda is Managing Director and Head of Strategic Initiatives for Angel Oak Capital and is responsible for overseeing new projects and initiatives. Previously Head of Operations, Linda was responsible for the firm’s middle and back-office functions. She has over 20 years of experience in trade operations, documentation, and internal audits, primarily supporting over-the-counter derivatives and structured transactions.

Prior to Angel Oak, Linda was a Founding Member and Co-Chair of the SIFMA Asset Managers Forum (AMF) Swap Committee which issued a white paper on Buy-Side Best Practices for derivatives processing. She has participated as a panel speaker at ISDA, AMF and ISITISI workshops. While at BlackRock Financial Management, she designed a multi-product collateral system and derivatives-specific enhancements for Aladdin, its proprietary trading system. Linda also has experience at Swiss Re Asset Management and Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York, and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta.

Linda holds a B.A. degree from Wittenberg University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification; and held a Series 99 license.
